Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.86% or 290.00 points to trade at 10,435.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 2.16% or 20.20 points to end at 956.20 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.11% or 210.00 points to 10,160.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 2.43% or 13.50 points to trade at 541.50 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 2.18% or 4.25 points to end at 190.80 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.46% or 0.55 points to 119.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.21% or 0.17 to $79.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.32% or 0.27 to hit $83.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 30.70 to trade at $2,371.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 105.21.
