नई दिल्ली (आई-ग्रेन इंडिया)। खरीद की प्रक्रिया कुछ देर से शुरू होने के बावजूद सरकारी एजेंसियों द्वारा चालू रबी मार्केटिंग सीजन में 24 अप्रैल तक राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर किसानों से 170.80 लाख टन गेहूं खरीदा गया जो पिछले साल की समान अवधि की खरीद 136.90 लाख टन से ज्यादा तथा पूरे सीजन के लिए खरीद के नियत लक्ष्य 341.50 लाख टन का लगभग आधा है। हालांकि गेहूं की खरीद का नया मार्केटिंग सीजन औपचारिक रूप से 1 अप्रैल को ही आरंभ हो गया था लेकिन पंजाब-हरियाणा एवं राजस्थान में 15 मार्च से 6 अप्रैल तक मौसम खराब रहने से फसल की कटाई-तैयारी में देर हो गई और मंडियों में तथा सरकारी क्रय केन्द्रों पर इसकी आवक भी सही समय पर आरंभ नहीं हो सकी। उल्लेखनीय है कि 16 अप्रैल तक गेहूं की सरकारी खरीद गत वर्ष से करीब 23 प्रतिशत पीछे चल रही थी लेकिन उसके बाद इसकी आपूर्ति एवं खरीद की गति काफी तेज हो गई। वरिष्ठ आधिकारिक सूत्रों का कहना है कि खरीद एवं आवक की वर्तमान रफ्तार को देखते हुए लगता है कि गेहूं की कुल सरकारी खरीद इस बार नियत लक्ष्य से आगे निकल सकती है जिससे केन्द्रीय पूल में इसका स्टॉक संतोषजनक स्तर पर पहुंच सकता है।
आधिकारिक आंकड़ों के अनुसार चालू मार्केटिंग सीजन में अब तक 17 लाख से अधिक किसानों से न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) पर गेहूं की खरीद की जा चुकी है और खरीदे गए गेहूं का कुल मूल्य 36,301 करोड़ रुपए के करीब आंका गया। मालूम हो कि केन्द्र सरकार ने गेहूं का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य 2021-22 के 2015 रुपए से 110 रुपए बढ़ाकर 2022-23 के सीजन हेतु 2125 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल निर्धारित किया है।
केन्द्रीय पूल में खाद्यान्न का सर्वाधिक योगदान देने वाले राज्य- पंजाब में गेहूं की सरकारी खरीद गत वर्ष के मुकाबले इस बार 24 अप्रैल तक 3 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 76.30 लाख टन पर पहुंच गई। हालांकि वहां कुल 132 लाख टन की खरीद का लक्ष्य रखा गया है मगर इसका हासिल होना मुश्किल लगता है। इसी तरह मध्य प्रदेश में गेहूं की खरीद समीक्षाधीन अवधि के दौरान 25.80 लाख टन से 66 प्रतिशत उछलकर 42.90 लाख टन पर पहुंचा जबकि इसका कुल लक्ष्य 80 लाख टन नियत हुआ है। पिछले साल 129 लाख टन के निर्धारित लक्ष्य के सापेक्ष वहां केवल 46 लाख टन गेहूं की खरीद हुई थी। हरियाणा में भी गेहूं की सरकारी खरीद 36.10 लाख टन से 40 प्रतिशत बढ़कर इस बार 50.60 लाख टन पर पहुंच चुकी है।
